Interactive Session in Lhuntse Dzongkhag
Upon invitation from Lhuntse Dzongkhag Administration, the Anti-corruption Commission and the Public Procurement and Policy Division, Ministry of Finance conducted a day long advocacy and awareness program on 25th August 2010. The program was attended by about seventy participants comprising of representatives from the Rabdey, Dzongkhag Tshogdu Members, Civil Servants and local contractors.
Talk on GNH Values and Anti-corruption
On the invitation of Motithang Higher Secondary School, the Chairperson delivered a talk on “GNH Values and Anti-corruption” on August 6, 2010. It was attended by Class IX and XI students, some teachers and the Principal.
PRELIMINARY DRAFT ON INTEGRITY AWARD
Corruption is a serious crime that undermines social and economic development and weakens the moral fabric of society. Corruption hinders social and economic development and increases poverty by diverting plans and investment funds away from where it is most needed. Corruption deprives people of the basic building blocks of a decent life through the weakening of public services institutions like education and health systems.
